We also did some ghosting. I’ve never heard of this before, but since we’ve moved here, we’ve been ghosted. Apparently, you are supposed to sneak up to someone’s door and anonymously drop off a sign saying “Boo! You’ve been ghosted” or something to that effect, then leave a little treat for your unsuspecting target to find in the morning. We made these little lollipop ghosts and pushed them into a piece of styrofoam to keep them up right. To add to the silliness, we included little “trees” from a bush outside our house and a stone with R.I.P. written on it. Then, we quietly placed them, with previously mentioned sign and a small bag of candy, at our neighbors’ and friends’ houses.<\/p>\n Another item on our list<\/a> was to create some spooky art. Pinky helped me trace the template for these To wrap things up, we did a little trick-or-treating (also on the list<\/a>) with Little Red Riding Hood. The costume is almost entirely homemade using the magic of stitch witchery. I must confess that having a working sewing machine would have made things a lot easier, but it turned out adorably cute nonetheless.
