June 1st, 2011

What a difference a month can make! Sweet Pea is packing on the lbs. in a good way.

And here are the side by side comparisons of April and May.

I’ll be taking a monthly photo of Sweet Pea on a big black and white calendar for the first year of his life for a sense of size and scale.

Jumperoo

June 1st, 2011

This past weekend was pretty good. We didn’t get all of the cleaning/ projects finished that we would have liked to (isn’t that the story of our lives,) but we sure tried. Part of the deal for Pinky was that if she would help us out and be a “Super Cleaner” that we would take her to the mall and she could jump on these oversized pillow things with a harness strapped to her. She has been begging to do it for months now and I figured that I might as well get something worthwhile in return for the $7 I spent on 2 minutes worth of jumping. I took the video camera along to capture her in action…

Chris also had the great idea to go camping this weekend. To bad that the idea came at nearly 9 pm on Sunday evening. However, we improvised and since it was too late to actually go camping somewhere, he set up the tent in our living room. And it was perfect for viewing the t.v. with some popcorn in hand.

May 29th, 2011

Here’s hoping that everyone has a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend!

I’m going to be working on a few projects (in addition to the tons of laundry, cleaning and yard work we have to do.) Say hello to Knappa, Chipper, and Tavern Ticking. More about these 3 in the coming weeks.

So, what do you have planned for this long weekend?

Growth Spurt

May 19th, 2011

Guess who has out grown their first outfit? Sweet Pea of course! These cute little premie pj’s are just a bit to short for our growing boy. I can’t believe he is out growing clothing so quickly, but I guess he is 5 weeks old now. The latest measurements at the doctor’s were 5 lbs. 13 oz. and 19 1/4 inches long!
